The iconic rock band bass player Kiss and recent recruit to the “Dogecoin Army” of Elon Musk, Gene Simmons, has announced a six-figure investment in Cardano (ADA).
Simmons revealed on Twitter on February 19 that he’d bought ADA worth $300,000. While stressing that he is not a financial analyst, the rock star said he wanted to share projects he believes in and was certainly not suggesting that anyone else should buy ADA.
Charles Hoskinson, the Cardano creator and Ethereum co-founder, welcomed Simmons to the ADA community and invited him to reach out if he wanted any assistance via private message.
According to Cointelegraph.com, Simmons engaged with some of his supporters, offering advice on where to buy the token and commending them for making the price of Cardano “go up”.
Gene Simmons drifted off the crypto radar after professing his support for Bitcoin toward the peak of its 2017 bull rally, but returned with a vengeance at the start of this month after claiming to have made investments in Dogecoin.
He has also revealed a spate of investments over the past week, including the purchase of Bitcoin (BTC) seven months ago, $300,000 worth of Ethereum (ETH) when it traded for $300, and $300,000 worth of Binance Coin (BNB).
