“Drive your lambos to the moon” says Lindsay Lohan

BitGo, a major digital asset custody and security company, has hired a former compliance executive of Coinbase.

There’s no question that the crypto bull season and the associated hype is upon us. The actress Lindsey Lohan has now recorded a paying promotional video for BTC and Ether, remembering some of the celebrities who got in on crypto during the historic winter 2017 market.

Lohan’s video was commissioned by a website named Cameo by a crypto news outlet, an online service that enables individuals or corporations to hire celebrities to film personalized video messages at an agreed price. According to the site, a user can make a video request from Lohan for around $ 350, as of press time.

In the 12-second-long video, the actress — appearing in a selfie frame in front of a nondescript, bleached window view — told viewers: “I’m just here to say that Ethereum is going to $10,000 and Bitcoin is going to $100,000. Enjoy a prosperous 2021 and I hope you all get to drive your lambos to the moon.”

The video forecasts of Lohan are not related to emerging, smaller altcoins, and as such remain limited to an ambiguous support of the most veteran and biggest market-cap coins in the industry. Her reference to “Ethereum” indicates that the actress has not engaged herself to any massive degree in crypto markets and online culture, as opposed to the precise, strictly speaking, asset name “Ether”

Bitcoin is circling the $34,220 mark as of press time, down just over 2 percent on the day, but up 77 percent on the month. At nearly $1,060, Ether holds its foothold over the $1,000 level, and is equally strong to 80 percent on the month.
