The world’s first live-streaming platform dedicated to cryptocurrency is going live just in time for the 2021 bull market.
According to Cointelegraph, Ran Neuner, host of CNBC’s Crypto Trader show, has launched the first call-in media channel devoted particularly to cryptocurrency. Dubbed Crypto Banter, the station features a blend of news, opinions, interviews and live conversations with industry leaders.
Crypto Banter wants to be the world’s first crypto-based streaming platform available 24 hours a day and 365 days a year.
The new service is planned to provide viewers with an alternative source of “credible, live information” that can be accessed any time without having to go down the Crypto Twitter rabbit hole.
In an exclusive press release Neunuer stated:
“Banter is designed to bring the banter from Crypto Twitter and Telegram to a credible, moderated AV medium. It is designed to filter out the noise and bring information that people can trade on to a live streaming medium.”
Neuner has been educating the public about cryptocurrency and blockchain technology since 2017 when he first launched Crypto Trader on CNBC.
Crypto Banter, which is available on YouTube, is reported as a mix between CNBC, the Joe Rogan Experience and talk radio.
However, the pendulum for cryptocurrency adoption has apparently swung from retail to institutional investor, a platform like CryptoBanter is banking on growing consumer interest in digital assets.
Neuner said about cryptocurrency adoption over the next few years:
“While we are seeing great adoption Bitcoin as a store of value and a hedge against USD printing, the real adoption of Blockchain hasn’t yet begun and will take several years.”
He also added:
“for now, there will be a ton of speculation on investments in this space. Money will be made and lost in minutes and up-to-the-minute info is key. Today there is no live streaming (…) CryptoBanter looks to fill this gap!”
